The American Red Cross will host a retirement seminar to help families plan for the transition to retirement years. There is no cost to participate.
The seminar takes place at 6:00p.m. at Seascape resort in Aptos. A light buffet will be available from 5:30-6 p.m.

The American Red Cross Northern California Blood Services Region issued an urgent call for blood donors on Monday, August 23, 2010.
The Red Cross closely monitors national and local blood supplies to ensure donations are keeping pace with hospital need for blood products in order to meet ongoing and emergency patient care.

8/21/2009 - MONTEREY-SAN BENITO COUNTIES AND CARMEL AREA CHAPTERS MERGE
In an effort to provide enhanced service to the residents of the Monterey Bay Area, the Carmel and Monterey-San Benito Area Chapters of the American Red Cross will merge effective September 1, 2009 to create the American Red Cross, Monterey Bay Area Chapter. This newly formed Chapter will also work closely with the Santa Cruz County Chapter with the goal of consolidating functions across the three Counties to facilitate quality service delivery for these communities.
10/23/2008 - Safe Rides for Youth Program to begin November 7
Created for youth and by youth, Safe Rides for Teens is a new program of the Santa Cruz County Chapter of the American Red Cross that will provide free and confidential rides home for teens as an alternative to driving or riding in a dangerous situation.This free, safe and confidential program will be the first of its kind in Santa Cruz County.Safe Rides service will be available county-wide starting on Friday, November 7th.
